I fell in love with travel when I spent a semester studying abroad in Europe, and I've been hooked ever since.
One of my favorite memories from that trip (and trust me, there were a lot!) was hiking the Samaria Gorge in Crete, Greece.
It was a beautiful autumn day. The sky was a bright blue and there wasn't a cloud in sight. I walked along a rugged, rocky trail that descended into the canyon and then cut its way through soaring cliffs. At its narrowest (and most dramatic) point, the gorge is only 13 feet wide and nearly a thousand feet high. Can you image?!?!
The views were STUNNING!!
But, beyond the raw natural beauty that surrounded me, the thing I was most struck by was how many different languages and accents I heard as I hiked.
I remember thinking, "Wow, how cool is it that all of these people, from all over the world, are all doing the exact same thing at the exact same time!"
I had never had an experience like that before. It totally blew my mind, and that moment is what has shaped my perspective on travel ever since.
Travel brings people together.
I love learning about other cultures and what makes them unique, but I also love that the more I travel, the more I find how similar we actually all really are.
I have visited 17 countries and counting so far. Some of the highlights from my travels include: Italy, Greece, Tahiti, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, France, Mexico, Hawaii and several islands in the Caribbean.
The excitement and adventure of traveling is what truly fuels my soul, and I'm so grateful that I get to use my passion to help others make their travel dreams a reality too!
