JOIA Rose Hall Wedding Review With Danielle & Greg
Why did you decide to have a destination wedding?
We wanted a small intimate gathering in a beautiful place.
What were your biggest concerns about planning a destination wedding? What were you struggling with the most before reaching out to EverAfter Travel?
Getting everyone to the wedding and making sure people booked the hotel. I was struggling with all of the travel planning the most.
What were your "must haves" for your destination wedding? What were the deciding factors for choosing your resort?
On the beach, wedding package options, options for kids, and travel accommodations.
Tell me about your wedding e.g. events, venues, special touches, etc. How many guests did you invite to your destination wedding and how many people ended up attending? If you're comfortable sharing, how much was the total cost of your destination wedding celebration (not including things like travel expenses, your dress, etc.)?
We had our ceremony and reception on the beach. We chose the "Perfectly White" package and added a private dinner. There were 25 guests and we spent a total of $4000.
Was there anything you splurged on for your destination wedding and if so, did you feel like it was worth it?
Photography and yes it was so worth it!
Was there anything you tried to save on for your destination wedding and if so, did you feel like it was worth it?
Flowers and decor. Yes, it was worth it to save on both of these. I brought some decor from home and the destination was so beautiful it didn’t need any extra.
What were your favorite parts about your destination wedding?
The honeymoon : )
Is there anything you would change about your destination wedding?
I would have liked even more time at the wedding resort before moving to our honeymoon resort.
What were the most helpful online websites/social media groups/content creators/YouTube links that helped you during the planning process?
I didn’t really use any of these.
What advice do you have for other couples planning a destination wedding?
If you do a destination wedding, get a travel coordinator and don’t stress about the details until you get there. They do weddings at these resorts all the time and they are experts at putting it together once you get there.
What kind of feedback did you hear from your guests? This could be about the resort, the wedding, and/or EverAfter Travel.
They loved Jodi! They were very happy she was available for questions and accommodation changes.
How did working with EverAfter Travel make planning your JOIA Rose Hall wedding easier/better/less stressful?
It was amazing, Jodi is awesome and great to work with. She made my life so much easier when I was already so stressed out.
Review posted by Danielle and Greg about their experience:
Jodi from EverAfter Travel is the person every destination bride needs. She was a life saver when it came time to plan the travel for my destination wedding.
As a bride, Jodi took so much stress off of my plate by coordinating all the different travel plans for our loved ones. She was a wonderful resource for our family and guests by providing everyone information related to international travel, hotel accommodations, and excursions.
Lastly, Jodi was so patient and accommodating to all of our questions and requests (and let me tell you there were MANY questions as a destination bride). Destination brides, look no further. Jodi is the woman you want on your team, and I would 100% use her all over again.
Thank you Jodi for all your hard work we had an amazing time!
