What were your biggest concerns about planning a destination wedding?
Cost, coordination and getting everyone on the same page, ease of travel and booking travel, family and friends being able to attend.
What were you stuggling with the most before reaching out to EverAfter Travel?
Picking a location for the wedding; we knew we were going to go to an all-inclusive, but didn't have a good idea of which one.
What were your "must haves" for your destination wedding?
Adults only! Somewhere where it would be affordable to fly to and where transportation would be relatively easy.
What was your favorite part about your destination wedding?
The afterparty - the dance floor was awesome! But everything was really good - the coordination on the wedding day was easy to manage through WhatApp with our wedding coordinator. The location was beautiful!
Is there anything you would change about your destination wedding?
No! Everything came together really well, and everything met or exceeded our expectations. If we had to nitpick, we would have loved better communication from our wedding coordinator prior to the wedding.
What is your best piece of advice for other couples just starting to plan their destination wedding?
Work with Jodi! Have an idea of what you're looking for prior to looking into locations.
What kind of feedback did you hear from your guests about booking their travel arrangements through EverAfter Travel?
Multiple people told us that working with Jodi was amazing, and were asking us if they could use EverAfter Travel's services for non-wedding travel.
How did working with EverAfter Travel make planning your Secrets Cap Cana wedding in the Dominican Republic easier/better/less stressful?
Pretty much in every conceivable way did it make it less stressful. We were especially grateful that we were able to have a seperate contact to answer questions and coordination transportation and booking. I can imagine that as we were planning everything else, that would have been extremely stressful, so we were SO grateful that you were there to help!
